Bob Neal & Son Funeral Home was established by Bob and Brenda Neal in the spring of 1974. It is located in the historical McCreight home at the corner of North Main St. and Hemlock. The house was built in the late 1800s.
Over the years, there have been several additions to the building, including an S added to Son on the sign out front. The Victorian-era home, with the 200-year-old magnolia tree in the front yard, lends a southern charm to the building. The large stateroom/chapel allows for large groups of people to gather and visit with families. It has a modern, up-to-date display room, a full kitchen and living room for the convenience and comfort of our families.
The firm is now in its 48th year. Brinkley is located on Interstate 40 halfway between Little Rock, Arkansas, and Memphis, Tennessee, in rural eastern Arkansas.
Bob Neal & Sons - Brinkley Funeral Home
Brickell Funeral Home was originally established in 1926 and purchased from the Brickell estate in 1994 by the Bob Neal Family. It is the oldest, continuously operating funeral home in Phillips County.
We are located in the rural farming community of Marvell, Arkansas (population 1300), about 20 miles west of the Mississippi River in east/central Arkansas. The Neal family built a new facility in 1995 that is decorated with antiques, creating a home-like atmosphere. It offers 3 viewing areas, a chapel, a display room, and a refreshment center.
