Virginia Fay Scaife, age 77, of Marvell, Arkansas passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Friday, May 27, 2022.  She was born on May 19, 1945 in Marie, Arkansas; the fourth child of the late James and Mae Bell Coburn.

Virginia loved to talk and visit with people.  Listening to music, growing flowers and working with plastic canvas were some of the hobbies Virginia enjoyed in her spare time…..which she didn't have often since she was very busy with her biggest joy:  raising her family.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory four sons, Johnny O'Neal (Carol) of Harrisburg, William O'Neal (Betty), James O'Neal and Scotty Scaife, all of Marvell; four daughters, Linda Densmore (Tommy) of Marvell, Gayle Landrum of Marvell, Dale Ricone of Turner and Vickie Cothren (Jason) of Cabot; Janet Collins and Rocky Coburn her God children. twelve grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, John Scaife, Jr.; sons, Thomas Wayne Harris and Andy Scaife; granddaughter, Veronica McKnight; and four sisters, Pamela Daily, Loudone Turpine, Betty Searcy and Ann Gentry.

Services for Virginia Scaife will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Bob Neal & Sons Brickell Funeral Home.  Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with burial following at Cypert Cemetery.  Brother Mike Crisp will officiate.

Pallbearers are Katelyn O'Neal, Tyler O'Neal, Rocky Coburn, James E. O'Neal, Joey Bogard and Harvey McKnight.
