Virgil Joseph Guidry, age 59, of Des Arc passed away at Unity Health at Searcy, on Monday, January 22, 2024.

Virgil was a transportation driver in the trucking industry and an offshore electrician.

He was preceded in death by his parents Yancy Paul and Gerry Guidry, Jessie and Betty Boudreaux and  one sister Tabiatha Boudreaux and one brother in law Calvin Gagneaux,

Virgil leaves behind his wife, Maylynn Guidry of Des Arc, AR. two children, Travis Lacoste of Tennessee and Paige Taylor and husband Kaldric of Des Arc, four grandchildren. Siblings are three brothers, Roland Guidry (Paula) of Houma, LA, Jay Polit of New Orleans, LA, Jessie Boudreaux of Thibadeaux, LA., seven sisters, Leona Gagneaux (Daniel) of Schriever, LA, Angelle Foret (Danny) of Raceland, LA, Nancy Guidry, Gerri Lynn Lopez (Luis) of DeQuincy, LA, Juanita Del Villar (Tony) of Houston, TX, Charlene Authement (Ashful) of Iowa, LA, Hazel Gagneaux from Schriever, LA. and many friends and relatives.

The family had a private viewing and memorial service.
