Obituary

Tracy Rawlison, 51, of Des Arc, Arkansas, departed this life on May 27, 2024 due to injuries sustained in a car accident.

Tracy was born in West Memphis, Arkansas on March 16, 1973 to parents Billy Gene and Mary Ann Rawlison, both of whom preceded him in death. He was a 1991 graduate of Brinkley High School. During his time at BHS, Tracy made his mark in the Tiger band as a talented drummer, and among the school community as a gifted artist, sought out by teachers and students alike when artwork was needed for various projects and events.

After high school, Tracy attended classes at EACC in Forrest City, followed by art school classes in California.

At the time of his death, Tracy was employed by Delta Plastics in Stuttgart as a shift supervisor. He enjoyed his work and was highly regarded by his coworkers.

Tracy was a devoted father to his son, Quintin, a loving brother and uncle, and a loyal friend. He was a gifted musician, and had a particular love and appreciation for rock songs and hair bands from the 1980's. Tracy was deeply loved by many people who will miss him every day.

In addition to his parents, Tracy was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Billy Gene Rawlison, Jr., Rodney Dale Rawlison, Pamela Dunton, Cynthia Kaye Rawlison, and Mary Evelyn Rawlison.

He is survived by his son, Quintin Tracy Rawlison of Des Arc, his brother Benny Paul Rawlison (Hilda) of Brinkley, his sister Vickie Nash (Carlos) of Holly Grove, his twin sister, Stacy Mayville (Jeff) of Harper's Ferry, West Virginia, and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 7 at New Church Fellowship in Brinkley with Reverend Ted Edmonson officiating. The family will receive visitors at 1:00 p.m., with services beginning at 2:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Hughes Cemetery in Forrest City, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Dakota Geisler, Galen Geisler, Anthony Shane Rawlison, Jacob Gammel, Dustin Gardner, Carlos Nash, Jeff Mayville, Paris Potts, and Jonah Winkowski.

Memorials in honor of Tracy may be made to New Church Fellowship in Brinkley, Arkansas.
