Tommy Haycraft was born on September 3, 1965 to Doyle and Barbara Haycraft.  Tommy was their first child, and the doting parents adored their newborn baby boy.  Pretty soon, he was joined by his sister Tammy, and with the addition of a beloved daughter, the Haycraft family was complete.

He grew up in the small community of Barton, attending elementary and high school there.  After graduating, Tommy knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life.  From an early age, he loved all things tractors and Ford trucks.  He gained experience in repairing them and eventually started to rebuild old trucks and equipment.  His work was trusted by many farmers, and he was able to open his own business- "Tommy's Fieldworks".

Tommy was a quiet and unassuming guy who was quick with a smile.  He always helped anyone he could.  He loved his kids, T.J. and Skylar,  and you would be hard pressed to find a prouder grandfather.

On January 1, 2008, Tommy married his sweetheart, Michelle and gained a bonus son, Zach.  The happy couple made their home in Lexa and attended church at Cypert Church of Christ in Marvell.

On Saturday, April 1 ^st , Tommy passed away with family by his side after a courageous battle with AML.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Michelle; father, Doyle Haycraft; sons, T.J. Haycraft of Little Rock and Zach Collier (Cheyenne) of Lexa; one daughter, Skylar Burks (Noah) of Corpus Christi, Texas; four grandchildren, Jax, Noah, Levi, Zeflin; his sister, Tammy Smith (John) of Lexa; and many other family members and friends.

Tommy was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Gamble Haycraft.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena.  Brother Mark Spencer will officiate.
