January 2, 1966 — December 6, 2025
Des Arc
Thomas Michael "Mike" Keith, 59, of Des Arc, Arkansas departed from this life into the kingdom of heaven on December 6th, 2025, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Stuttgart, Arkansas. Mike was born January 2, 1966, in Indianola, MS to Thomas David and Etta Mae Pate Keith.
On October 29, 1988, he married the love of his life, Janet. Together they raised three daughters and one son.
After graduating from Shaw High School, he began working at Shaw Cotton Gin, which lead to him finding his passion for truck driving. He was a loyal employee of Dependable Air, Reidhar Farms and Calhoun Trucking.
Mike was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished papaw, brother, uncle and friend. Mike found his faith at an early age. He was a faithful member of Living Waters Church where he sat as a building board member. He faithfully served the Lord until his last day.
Mike enjoyed the simple things in life. His favorite meal was fried fish, his dog Toby, watching football, sitting on the porch, and above all else was spending time with his family and grandkids. Known for his laughter, quick wit, kind heart, and pure toughness. Throughout his life he endured many health battles, but never lost his faith, smile or sense of humor.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 38 years, Janet Keith, daughter Bianca Baxter, his beloved son-in-law Drew Baxter, daughter Jenna (Devon) Watkins, daughter Madison Keith, son Jonathan Keith, two cherished grandsons Greyson Baxter and Kamden Baxter and one granddaughter Alexandria Watkins, sister Ann (Kenny) Rivers, sister Brenda (Wayne) Johnson, brother-in-laws Johnny (Clarinda) Hoop, Roger (Nick) Hoop and host of nieces and nephews.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents Thomas David and Etta Mae Keith, mother-in-law Mary Joann Hoop and father-in-law John Hoop.
Mike will be remembered for his strong work ethics, unwavering faith, steady character and deep love for his family.
Mike's family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the outpouring of support, both financially and in prayer, during this very difficult time. Words cannot express the comfort your thoughtfulness has brought to us.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Garth's Funeral Home in memory of Mike.
