Susan Gail Green, age 61, of Des Arc AR, departed this world on March 8, 2026, at U.A.M.S. in Little Rock, AR. She was born on November 10, 1964, to the late Betty J. Smith and Eugene Taylor in Stuttgart, AR.

Susan attended Des Arc Schools and had a lifelong commitment to her faith. She was a dedicated member of Hickory Plains Missionary Baptist Church in Hickory Plains for over 50 years and most recently attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Des Arc. Her faith was central to her life, and she lived it out in many ways, including her love for singing.   An avid lover of the beauty of life, Susan had a passion for softball, crafting and dancing with her friends and family. Her crafting talent was evident in each piece she made, each one crafted with love.

Susan's loving spirit will be fondly remembered and sorely missed by her sons, Scott (Leah) Green of Conway, Taylor Green of Jacksonville, and Robert Phillips of Judsonia; her cherished grandchildren, Callie and Sean Green; and her caring sisters, Sherry (Teddy) Jones of Hickory Plains and Brenda Graham of El Paso, AR and her many friends she met along life's way.  Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Betty J. Smith and Eugene Taylor.

Susan was a woman of strength, resilience, and compassion. Her love for her family was immeasurable. She was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew her, and her memory will forever be engraved in their hearts.   Currently, no services are planned.

The family thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.   Let us remember Susan, not with the sadness of her passing, but with the joy of having known such a beautiful soul. Her love, laughter, and faith will continue to guide us, inspire us, and give us strength
