Shirley Irene (Anderson) Bodkins was born on May 1, 1949 and passed away on October 28, 2022.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Theady and Eva Anderson, her husband of 53 years, Rueben Bodkins, three daughters, Linda Sue Miller, Donna Nightingale, and Betty McCombs, two grandson, Christopher Allen Bodkins, and Joshua Ryan Bodkins, one granddaughter, Linda Renee Hopper,  two brothers, Shelby Anderson and Butch Anderson, and two sisters, Linda Gosa and Pat Henson.

She is survived by three sons, Rueben Bodkins  (Sherri) of Cotton Plant, Robert Bodkins (Christy) of Lake View, Kenneth Bodkins (Ashley) of Williford, and one daughter Angalina Cossey (Bill) of Williford, brothers, Hayes Anderson, and Danny Anderson and an amazing thirty grandchildren and fifty five great grandchildren.

Shirley was of the Baptist faith, loved flowers and spending time with her family.

Graveside services will be in Upper Cemetery on Friday at 11:00 A.M.
