Sharon Kay Pena passed away on January 7, 2021, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Hot Springs. The family of  Paul and Mary Jane Chatham Sr. lived in Dewitt, at the time of her birth on April 21, 1948. As their second child, she was blessed to share in childhood memories with five siblings.

Sharon was the wife of Richard Pena and of the Christian faith. For the last 14 years she has attended times of worship at the First Baptist Church in Mena.

She loved working in the garden every year,  raised all types of flowers and had a green thumb for sure. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her grand and great grandchildren. Family meals were always the highlight of her weekends and her homemade salsa was a favorite to all her family and friends.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; Paul A. Chatham Sr. and Mary Jane Dedman Black

Survivors include: husband; Richard Pena,  son; Charles Hendrix and wife Kimberly of Star City, Arkansas, daughters; Sheila Borst of Pratt, Kansas, Pamela Harris and husband David of Hatfield, Arkansas; brothers; Paul Chatham Jr. and wife Rhonda of Searcy, Arkansas, Stephen Chatham and wife Debbie of Rogers, Arkansas; Sisters, Paulette O'Briant and husband Bobby of Hot springs, Arkansas, Shirley Chatham of Star City, Arkansas, Jamie Robbins and husband Mike of Hot Springs, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Johnna (Zach) Morris, Darren (Brittany) Hendrix, Jason Hendrix, Beau (Jeri) Borst, Shelby (Jesse) Garcia, Garrett Borst and Kendall Foster; 10 great grandchildren, Myia, Dallas, Rayden, Zane, Addyson, Harper, Ryan, Phoenix, Amelia and Grady.

Visitation will be at Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home in Brinkley from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. with a graveside service following at Oaklawn Cemetery in Brinkley, on Friday, January 29th.
