Sarah Nell Hallett Gullett of Oppelo was born March 28, 1934 in Oppelo, to Henry C. Hallett and Annie J. Jones Hallett.  Sarah entered the gates of Heaven on Friday, October 8, 2021 at the age of 87 with her family gathered around her.

Sarah at an early age fell in love with Bill Gullett.  They soon were married in Caglesville, AR on July 23, 1955.  Together they shared the joys of having three wonderful daughters.  They had their share of troubles and trials but their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ always seen them through.  Sarah and her husband were long time members of Bethel Baptist Church in Morrilton.  She was also former member of the Wolf Cemetery Committee, worked the election polls, lived her life to take care of Bill, and loved working in her yard and flowers. Most of all she loved her family.  They were her light in the dark and hard times.   Proverbs 31:10-11 ¹⁰ who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. ¹¹ The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

Mrs. Gullett is preceded in death by her parents; grandson: Jamie Stover; brother: Thomas Hallett.

She is survived by her wonderful husband of 66 years: Bill Gullett of Oppelo; Three daughters: Deborah Keener of Oppelo; Marilyn Cashin and husband Mike of Lowell; Donna McCoy of Oppelo; Grandchildren: Sonny Stover (Alicia), Clay Stover(Candy),Allison Price(Nate), Cody Keener (Holly), Stephanie Boyer(Brian), Ashley Epperson, Anthony Henderson, Josh Henderson (Kayla) and Chris Kennamer (Becca),  eighteen  great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and two on the way.

Visitation for Sarah will be Monday, October 11, 2021 from 6:00P.M. Until 8:00P.M. At Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Morrilton, Arkansas. Funeral Services will be 2:00P.M.Tuesday, October 12, at Bethel Baptist Church in Morrilton with interment following in Wolf Cemetery in Oppelo.
