Anne Mealler Grigsby, age 58, passed away on Friday, December 8 at Unity Health – Searcy Medical Center in Searcy. She was a daughter of the late Willie and Peggy Mealler. She was a 1983 graduate of Clarendon High School and was presently attending Bryant & Straton College. She was an employee of Monroe Human Development Center in Brinkley for the past 16 years.

An outdoors person, Anne enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens, camping, and fishing. She was a talented painter and a writer having published the book "The Lady and The Longhorn." With a love for music, Anne sang in the church choirs, and enjoyed listening to Country, Vintage Rock, and Country Gospel music. She was of the Baptist faith.

Family was the most important part of Anne's life, especially her seven beautiful grandchildren, who lovingly called her Grammy.

Family who will cherish her memory are her daughters: Terri Barlow of Utah and Eryn Walker of Des Arc; her adopted son, Draegyn Grigsby of Des Arc; one brother, William Mealler and wife Debbie of Wyoming; two sisters, Sharon Harris of Moro and Bobbie Cobb of Paragould; Seven grandchildren, Hadley Allen, Hunter and Addison Kirtley, Hayden, Braden, Joslyn and Addilynn Barlow; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Amber Kirtley who passed away February 27, 2022.

The family will gather Tuesday, December 12 from 4 until 6 PM at Garth Funeral Home to visit with family and friends.
