Ruby Lee Martin, 80 years of age passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.

She was born on March 11, 1944 to Jackey Lee and Frances Long Steinbeck in Helena, Arkansas.

Ruby received her education through the Phillips County School District through the 9th grade.  She later returned to receive her GED. She married Jimmy Don Martin, Sr. on August 6, 1961.

Ruby worked as a CNA at Crestpark Nursing Home for 30 years, as well help caring for others from time to time.  She was retired from Pitstop Liquor Store.  Her favorite hobbies were playing cards, Yahtzee, crocheting, watching westerns and talking on the phone.  Her fondest memories were spending time with her family; hunting and fishing together.

Ruby was of the Baptist Faith and was a member the Harmony Baptist Church in Helena and was an American Legion Member.

She was survived by one son, Clyde Martin of Marvell, Arkansas; three daughters, Ronda Martin of Poplar Grove, Arkansas, Jannie Lowery (Jeff) of Barton, Arkansas, Althea Wheeler of Lexa, Arkansas; one brother, Larry Steinbeck of West Helena, Arkansas; two sisters, Virginia Wright of Palestine, Arkansas, Chris Koscielny (David) of Little Rock, Arkansas, 5 grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, her parents and one son, Jimmy Don Martin, Jr.
