Mr. Roscoe Albert was born April 13, 1942 in Phillips County to the late Reverend Johnny Albert and Texanna (Gage) Albert. He accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Reverend R. L. Russ at St. Matthew M. B. Church (Gumbottom). Roscoe was a faithful member and deacon until the decline of his health. He worked at Riceland Food for 36 years and was a school board member of the Marvell-Elaine School district for 25 plus years. He loved carpentry, gardening, farming, and keeping a beautiful yard at home. He was well known and loved by many in the community.

Roscoe was married to the late Merteen (Walker) Albert with whom he had five children. He later married Ada Sandifer of Saint Paul, Minnesota on July 21, 2001 and two more children were added to the family.

He is preceded in death by two brothers, Willie D. Albert and Lonester Albert.

His life will forever be cherished in the lives of his wife Ada Albert; Children: Timothy (Everly) Clark, Terry (Mary) Albert, Bonnie (Steven) Carruth, Bessie (Ricky) Lee, Vanesa (Tyrone) Dawson, Miranda (Jerry) Gray, and Britannica Steele; Sisters: Virginia Jefferson, Johnnie M. (A.J.) Wagstaff, Josephine (Alphonsa) Ballard, Joyce (John) Adams, Jerri (Mike) Ilkiw, Karen (Oliver) Blount, and Annie Willis; Brothers: Carlos (Virginia) Albert, Tommy Albert, and Freddie (Veora) Albert.

Visitation with family and friends will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday August 20, 2021 at Bob Neal & Sons-Brickell Chapel in Marvell.

Funeral service will be 12:00 noon Saturday August 21 at Coffee Creek Cemetery.
