Ronald Ray French, Ron to most, peacefully passed away on May 1 at the age of 70. Ron was born on June 22,1953, in Brinkley, Arkansas to Ray & Ann French. He grew up in the suburbs of Moro, Arkansas-better known as New Salem community.

After Ron graduated from Lee Senior High School in Marianna, Arkansas in 1972 he moved to Memphis Tennessee to begin his Floral Design career. He later moved back to Brinkley to open his own Floral and gift shop, Family Affair. Years later he returned to Memphis, continuing to work in the Floral industry. He later relocated to Mississippi, also continuing in the Floral industry. In 1992 he moved to Hong Kong to join his sister, Dena to be a merchandiser for Vigor International a large Trading Company in Hong Kong. He showed so much talent that he was hired by a China Manufacturer to do product design and relocated outside of Shenzhen, China. He later returned to Brinkley, Arkansas and worked at the Flower Patch until his retirement in 2016. After retirement he loved working in his yard, helping people with interior design concepts and loved being the "Pool Guy". He also was a great care giver to his mom, Ann.

Ron was predeceased by his father Ray French. Ron is survived by his mother, Ann French, sister, Dena Kay French, brother, Clayton French and Booger his 4-legged best friend.

The visitation will be Monday, May 6 at 5:00-7:00 pm at Bob Neals and Sons funeral home in Brinkley, Arkansas. He will have a graveside service at the New Salem Cemetery Tuesday, May 7 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Salem Methodist Church.
