Robert "Bob" Smith was born April 18, 1939 in Hagarville, Arkansas, a son Woodrow Wilson Smith and Helen Lucille (Voliva) Smith. Bob passed away at his home in Plumerville, Arkansas on December 29, 2020 at the age of 81.

Bob was of member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed attending gospel singings. He was a hard worker and an employee of Wayne Smith Trucking for 33 years. Bob enjoyed gardening, watching westerns, and was huge LA Dodgers fan. He never missed watching them play on television. Bob will be missed greatly.

Bob is preceded in death by his wife: Reta Smith; and brother: Wayne Smith.

Bob is survived by his son: Steve R. Smith of Morrilton; daughter: Christy McCray of Plumerville; brothers: Eddie "Mose" Smith of Oppelo, J.W. Smith and wife Rhonda of Texas, Jimmy Smith of Morrilton; grandchildren: Casey Rogers and wife Vanessa of Morrilton, Jessica Mendenhall of Plumerville, Trey Shelton of Plumerville; and great-grandchild: Laira Rogers.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 02, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Plumerville. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
