On April 19, 2024, Roy Patrick Ferrell, passed away in Cabot, Arkansas at the age of 67. He was born on November 12, 1956, in Victoria, Texas, to Homer and Betty Ferrell. He shared the memories of childhood with one brother, Eric, and soon became simply known as Pat. Life's journey would bring Pat to Arkansas where he attended high school in Brinkley, and graduated in 1975.
Soon after studies came to an end, Pat's life was enriched by his marriage to Chyrl Wilson on November 28, 1975, in Hunter, Arkansas. The ceremony was officiated by Bro. Their home was blessed with the birth of two children and the joys of seeing their family grow with the addition of spouses and grandchildren. Pat worked outside the home as a machine operator at Van Heusen Shirt Factory, showcasing his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family.
As an outdoorsman, he enjoyed the sport of deer hunting and fishing. Pat also loved the simple pleasures in life, such as cooking on the grill. But above all, his greatest joys came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, showering them with love and affection.
Pat was a man of faith, and this was marked by his membership at Hunter Baptist Church, where he found solace in times of worship with fellow members. Pat's life was a testament to the importance of family and was filled with love, laughter, and unwavering kindness. His legacy will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Betty Harrell Ferrell.
