Kathryn "Nickol" Mason, 20, of Clarendon, was welcomed into her heavenly home on Sunday, February 23, 2025.

Nickol was born on February 3, 2005, to Erica Anderson and Tri Mason in Stuttgart, AR. She was a graduate of Clarendon High School class of 2023, where she spent every year cheering her heart out for the mighty lions. After graduation she went on to start college at NW Arkansas Community College in Fayetteville.

After completing 1 semester, Nickol decided that it was time to go back home so she could focus on spending time with her family. She went on to begin her career as a teacher in the infant/toddler room at St Johns Lutheran School in Stuttgart. She had such a passion for children.

Nickol loved to sing, cruise the levee and spend as much time as she could making memories with the friends and family that she loved so much. She spent family nights watching "street outlaws" or playing cards with her Nana and Papa. She cherished the time she spent with her best friend Shelby Fowler riding horses. Nickol was the definition of a "River Rat", spending the majority of her summers on the sandbar with her friends and family. She will always be remembered for being so full of joy and her amazing heart. There wasn't anyone that she wouldn't help in a time of need. To know Nickol was to love her.

Although she is gone from us physically, she touched so many lives in her 20 years here with us and her presence will always be felt by the ones who loved her.

She is survived by her fiancé, Tyler Jones of Dewitt; her Mother and Stepfather Erica and Nick Anderson of Clarendon; her father and step mother Tri and Danielle Mason of Clarendon; 4 Brothers, Bubba and Conner Mason, Zachary Degunion and Maddox Self all of Clarendon; and 1 sister, Peyton Garcia of Clarendon; her grandparents Clifton Mason JR of Fargo, Bobbie and Larry Loewer of Brinkley; Wade and Fay Williams of Clarendon; Dianne Anderson of Moro; Gerald and Patti Wilson of Bisco; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be at First Baptist church in Clarendon on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 6-8 pm. And The funeral will be Wednesday February 26, 2025, at 11am with graveside service to follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Clarendon.
