Myrtle Ann
Quinn
October 18, 1946 — April 13, 2024
Judsonia
Myrtle Ann Quinn, beloved daughter of Frances Rodgers, was born on October 18, 1946, in Brinkley, Arkansas. She peacefully passed away on April 13, 2024, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 77.
Myrtle received her formal education through the Brinkley Public Schools. A woman of strength and resilience, she was blessed in life to become the mother of two children and began her working career at the Van Heusen Shirt Factory. She later secured a position, at Farris Fashions where she remained up until their closing. Myrtle's commitment to her work was matched only by her dedication to her family. She was a devoted mother to her son, Travis Quinn (Laura) of Milton, Florida, and her daughter, Phyllis Holloway (Don) of Judsonia, Arkansas. Her grandchildren, Justin Holloway (Ashley), Nathan Holloway (Jessica), Ashley Varnell (Jarred), Hayley Nelson (Ryan), Hunter Quinn, Dena Emery, Jacob Emery, and her amazing 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren were the light of her life.
During times of worship, Myrtle found solace and community at Broadmoor Baptist Church in Brinkley until she moved to Judsonia. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she cherished the fellowship and support of her church family.
In her leisure time, Myrtle enjoyed indulging in her hobbies and interests, which included reading, playing games on the computer, and cooking. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and grandchildren, creating lasting memories and sharing her love through delicious home-cooked meals and warm embraces.
Myrtle Ann Quinn was a pillar of strength, a beacon of love, and a source of endless joy to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Gloria Tackett. Her legacy lives on through her family and the countless lives she touched with her kindness and generosity.
May her memory be a blessing, and may her spirit continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved her. Myrtle's presence will be deeply missed, but her love will forever remain etched in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
