Morris Lee Yarbrough of Cotton Plant, passed away unexpectedly, on August 1, 2024 at the age of 67. He was born on August 14, 1956, in Dinuba , California and the only child of Marshal and Alta Yarbrough.  In his early childhood, life's journey would bring his family to Arkansas where he received formal education at the Brinkley public schools.

On May 20th 1977 Morris married the love of his life, Belinda Moffett. They made their home in Brinkley and Hunter before choosing to move to Cotton Plant where they remained. For over 47 years they have shared in the joys of raising their children, and watching their family grow with the addition of spouses and grandchildren.  Sadly they would also share in the loss of a daughter in 1983 and a son in 1984.

Morris was no stranger to a hard days work. He put studies aside after the eight grade to help his father with hauling scrap iron and old cars. In later years Morris worked as a cook and was known by many as a jack of all trades.  He was last employed working as a farmer which he continued until 1993 then stepped away from public work due to an accident.

Morris was also a man of faith and knew the importance of a relationship with his Saviour Jesus Christ. he began his walk of faith as a child, attending the Missionary Baptist Church with his parents and most recently attended times of worship at the Broadmoor Baptist Church in Brinkley.

Morris is survived by his wife Belinda Yarbrough, daughter, Shana Smith (Michael) of Searcy, daughter Roxanne Gracey and Travis of Forrest City, and six grandchildren, Travis, Nathan, Camiren, Michael, Joshua and Tyler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshal and Alta (McKay) Yarbrough, one son, Jeremy Lee and a daughter, Courtney Nasha.
