Michael Scott Schaffhauser was welcomed into this world on April 8, 1970. He was simply known as "Scotty" by all who knew and loved him. Scotty spent his teenage and adult years in the Memphis, TN. area. He received the majority of his formal education through the Memphis public schools.

He worked in the roofing industry as a young man, transitioned to a job with Nike and later worked as a machinist in the pipe fabrication industry.

Like most young men growing up in the Southern Delta, Scotty enjoyed the outdoors. Some of his hobbies included deer and bow hunting as well as a love for horses.

On Saturday, August 13, 2022 Scotty passed away at Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, TN.

Scotty is survived by parents, John A. and Audrey Schaffhauser, two brothers Chuck and David Schaffhauser, four sisters, Melissa Childers, Connie Salter, Elaine Abdelrahim and Bonnie Croes and a host of beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in his journey by one brother, John Schaffhauser.
