McKenzie Paige Scruggs of Oppelo was born February 15, 1997 to Audrey Lee Story Scruggs and Jason Scruggs in Conway, AR.  McKenzie passed away on May 21, 2021 in Conway at the age of 24.

McKenzie was of the Baptist Faith.  She was a 2016 graduate from Nemo Vista High School, and she loved her job at Child Care Network as a Day Care Teacher in Conway.  Kenzie also loved to watch "Grey's Anatomy" and just about anything on Netflix.  She loved baking during the holidays, to say she was full of life would be an understatement about "Mac".   She lived and loved even harder.  You could find her on her phone taking "selfies."  Most of all she loved her niece, nephews, and her family.  She knew the important things in life and the things that made her most happy and it was truly her family.  She may have had a fight with her brother or her two sisters every now and then or maybe even her parents but she loved them more than they will ever know.  They were all the sunshine in her darkest days.  In the hard times ahead when you feel the sun shining down on you or the soft gentle breeze blow across your cheek remember the good times and remember Mac cause you can bet she is sending her love down on each of you.

McKenzie is preceded in death by her grandfather: Dillard Scruggs and her angel baby: Jordan Scruggs.

She is survived by her parents: Jason and Audrey Scruggs; Brother & Sister: Noah & Gracie Scruggs all of Oppelo; Sister: Haley Scruggs and her children: Jaxson, Malachi and Blakely all of Morrilton; Grandparents: Odis & Clara Story of Plumerville; Pat Scruggs of Morrilton; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and other friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 6:00PM til 8:00PM at the funeral home chapel. Funeral Services will be Wednesday May 26, 2021 at 10:00AM at Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Kilgore Cemetery.
