Mattie Lovion Nenninger, 85, of Chamber Health and Rehabilitation passed away May 1, 2025.  Mattie was born February 9, 1940, in Red Bud, IL.

Mattie treasured her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cross stitching, and word search puzzles.

Mattie and Floyd Hoke, SR., her faithful companion, went to the Pentecostal Church in Des Arc, every Sunday morning.

Mattie was a loving mother to two daughters, Evelyn (Sam) Maier, Mary Nenninger, sons Floyd (Angela) Hoke II and Tom Baird, a sister to Gary(Cindy) Rose, nieces Allison, Julia Rose, grandmother to Russ (Katie) Riley Jo Henderson, Shyann, Raiden, Lucas, and Wesley Hoke.

Mattie was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Carson, Sons John Mark, James Paul Jr, nephew, Nathan Ayers, and sister Bertha Brown Erwin.

Mattie will be laid to rest by her beloved companion Floyd Hoke, Sr. at Hazen Cemetery in Hazen, AR.
