Matthew Austin Turner, 40, passed away peacefully at the Beebe Retirement Center on December 1, 2025. Born  April 28, 1985, in Santa Cruz, CA, to Abigail and the late William Boyd Turner Sr., Matthew was a beloved son, brother, and friend. Despite his health challenges, he lived with unyielding spirit, and his kindness and humor left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Matthew pursued his education in Rosebud, Arkansas, where he graduated from the 12th grade, a testament to his strength and determination. His passion for animals, watching television, cooking and playing games was parallel to none.

Matthew's accomplishments were not measured in awards or accolades, but in the lives, he touched and the love he shared. His ability to connect with his dear sister Carolyn was a testament to his profound empathy, fortified by his personal struggles. His kind heart and ever-present sense of humor were his real achievements, leaving a legacy of cherished memories behind.

Survived by his mother, Abigail Turner and his sister Carolyn (David) Coughlin.  Matthew is preceded in death by his father William Boyd Turner Sr., and his brother William (Billy) Turner. He will forever be remembered by his warmth, humor, enduring love and relentless fighting spirit.
