Mary Lee Warren was born June 28, 1931 in the small community of Salem, Arkansas. She was one of five children to the family of  H.P. and Edith Warren. Mary received education at the local schools and continued her studies at Phillips Community College in Helena, earning her degree as an RN.

In 1950, she married the love of her life Marshall Ramey Jr. They chose to make their home and raise a family in Helena and later in Brinkley where they remained. Mary and Marshall shared in the joys  of raising  five sons and in time were blessed to watch their family grow with the addition of spouses and an amazing fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Sadly on September 30th, 2022 Mary experienced the passing of Marshall. She remained steadfast in caring for the family home and would soon welcome the birth of her nineteenth great grandchild.

Mary began her working career as a Line Supervisor at Doughboy Pools. Upon obtaining her RN degree, she secured a position at the Helena Hospital and began working in OB GYN and as a ER Nurse. With a genuine desire to help care for others, Mary later began working in Home Health.

She always loved times spent together with Marshall fishing, and liked to cook, travel and ski.  In quieter moments she enjoyed settling in with a good book. However; Mary had a love of family that exceeded all and time spent with her grandchildren brought her the most joy.

As a lady of Faith, Mary knew the importance of a relationship with her Saviour, Jesus Christ. She attended times of worship at the Brasfield Methodist Church and enjoyed the fellowship with church family. On February 4th, 2023, Mary's earthly journey ended as she entered through the gates of her eternal home. She was blessed with a wonderful 91 years. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, H.P. and Edith Warren, husband, Marshall Ramey Jr. and her four siblings, Carl Warren, Clint Warren, Helen Warren and Lillian Young.

Survivors, sons,  Marshall Ramey and wife Lisa of West Helena, Gerald Ramey and wife Tammy of Batesville, Jack W. Ramey and wife Aileen of Monroe, LA., Frank Ramey and wife Dawn of Canton, GA., Walter Ramey and wife Raye of Brinkley, fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and a host of extended family, church family and friends
