Mary Lois Hamilton, age 76 of Marvell, Arkansas passed away at Baptist Health in Little Rock, Arkansas.

She was born on August 10, 1948 to Walter Clifton and Martha Jane Bradley Word in Poplar Grove, Arkansas.

Mary Lois was of the Baptist faith and worked at Dough Boy as a machine operator making swimming pools and working for many years as a cashier clerk for Big Star and Wonder Bread.  She enjoyed flowering, fishing, gardening, raising chickens and spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.

She married the love of her life; Billy Lee Hamilton on October 31, 1964 in Phillips County, Arkansas.  They enjoyed 55 years together before his passing in 2019.  She is also preceded in death by one brother, James Clifton Word and two sisters, Annie Catherin Cavette and Thelma Inez Logan and one grandson, Jeremy Hamilton.

Mary Lois is survived by one daughter; Karen Little of Marvell, Arkansas, one son; David Hamilton of Tumbling Shoals, Arkansas, one sister; Faye Wallis of West Helena, Arkansas, four grandchildren; Carrie Smalley, Bradley Logan, Timothy Logan and Hunter Hamilton, six great grandchildren; Austin Newsom, William Chastin, Maddie Logan, Kylen Logan, Sarah Smalley and Ethan Logan and three great-great grandchildren; Mason Hamilton, Cali Hamilton and Hattie Newsom.
