Mary was born in Clarendon, AR and spent most of her childhood in Brinkley, AR. Shortly after graduating Brinkley High School she met a young sailor from Little Rock and was soon wed to Robert Jackson. It was after her move to Milton, FL that Mary discovered her fondness for travel. She also gave birth to her first child while stationed in Florida. Soon she was in Cuba and eventually Lexington Park MD. After 10 years of travel and exploration Mary and family returned to Arkansas. Once settled in Little Rock, she began a successful professional life while having her second child. While raising two children and continuing upward movement in the professional world she still managed to get in family trips all over the U.S. finally retiring from North American Phillips as a Manager in Inventory Control. After retirement Mary continued her travels with her best friend from Phillips and saw trips to England, Ireland, Amsterdam, and Hawaii, along with several cruises including Alaska and more. Mary had spent many years single after she and Bob divorced. At 70 years of age an old high school friend showed up and soon she was married to her high school love Jeff Dooley. Moving once again, Mary and Jeff lived in Bridgeton NJ where Jeff learned the joys of travel and exploring the many lighthouses on the eastern seashore. After 10 years of travel and much love Jeff left this world and Mary returned to Little Rock. For the next ten years Mary and Shawn would travel back and forth between Little Rock and the Gulf Coast. After a short illness in January 2024 Mary experienced an accident at home that would take her life.
