Mary
Bloesch
May 14, 1947 — September 23, 2025
Polar Grove
Mary Louise Hall Bloesch, lovingly known to most as "Lulie" or "GrandMary," peacefully entered her heavenly home on September 23, 2025, at the age of 78. A lifelong and proud citizen of Marvell, Arkansas, Lulie's presence was as bright and memorable as the sequins and sparkle she loved to wear.
Born on May 14, 1947, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Mack and Virginia Hall, Lulie graduated from Marvell High School in 1965, where she began a lifetime of friendships and community involvement. She remained an active member of the Marvell reunion group and devoted countless hours to her beloved hometown through the Garden Club, Civic Club, Bridge Club, and other local organizations.
Lulie married Richard Bloesch, on February 27, 1967. Though their union ended, they were blessed with one cherished son, Brian Bloesch who, along with her grandchildren, remained the joy of her life.
She worked faithfully as a bookkeeper for Farmer's Supply in Marvell for over 30 years and previously for Helena Chemical Company, where her sharp mind and warm personality endeared her to coworkers and customers alike.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jackie Hall, all of Marvell. Lulie leaves behind a loving family who will forever carry her sparkle in their hearts: her son Brian Bloesch (Vallerie) of Poplar Grove, AR; four adoring grandchildren, Savanna Singleton (Art) of Monticello, AR; Dillion Foster (Mackenzie) of Wheatley, AR; Steven Bloesch of Poplar Grove, AR; and Karley Bloesch (Josh) of Jonesboro, AR; one precious great-grandson, John Arthur Singleton III of Monticello, AR; one sister, Macklin Kelly of Tampa, FL; one brother, Bill Hall (Susan) of Little Rock, AR; a sister-in-love, Jamie Cox (Ronald) of Fayetteville, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
To her grandchildren, GrandMary, was the ultimate spunky, sassy grandmother—always up for fun, always impeccably dressed, and never without a little sparkle. She believed in living with grace and often reminded those around her to "kill them with kindness."
A longtime member of Marvell Methodist Church, Lulie's love for her community shone through her performances in the Marvell dinner shows and her joy in spending time with her "people." Her life was a beautiful reflection of love, laughter, and dedication to family and friends.
Lulie will be remembered as a classy, kind, and spirited woman whose warmth touched everyone she met. Her legacy of faith, family, and hometown pride will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
