Madonna Faye
Mccastlain
November 16, 1940 — November 24, 2025
Madonna Faye McCastlain, a cherished mother, wife, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on November 24, 2025, at Springhill Baptist Health in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Born in Effingham, Illinois on November 16, 1940, to Verlin Hubbard and Mildred F. Gunter Hubbard, Madonna lived a life filled with love, compassion, and service to others.
Madonna was a devoted wife to her husband Kenny McCastlain, of 41 years. Their bond formed in matrimony on March 7, 1984, in Brownsville, Texas. A pillar of strength for her family, Madonna is survived by her children, son Mark (Christy) McCastlain of Palo Pinto, TX, and daughter, Traci (Nigel) Henley of Dallas, TX. She was a doting grandmother to Drew McCastlain, Morgan Henley, and Kaden Henley. Her love extended to her sister Lanell (Jim) Mimmack of Palo Alto, CA.
Madonna graduated from the Class of 1958 from Odessa, Texas High School, after which she pursued further education at Junior College. Madonna was employed by the International Harvester Company for thirteen years and several years in retail farm equipment before moving to Clarendon, Arkansas. Madonna dedicated the remainder of her professional life to the service of others, securing a position with the Monroe County Workforce, followed by the Monroe County Extension Service. Madonna's dedication to her work was paralleled only by her passion for her hobbies, which included sewing and cooking. Her family will remember the warmth of her kitchen and the love sewn into each stitch.
She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Brinkley. She was a beacon of love, faith, and compassion and will be greatly missed by her church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Verlin and Mildred Hubbard, her sister Shirley Belcher, and her beloved grandson Seth McCastlain.
Madonna Faye McCastlain's life was a testament to the power of love and service. Her memory will be a guiding light to her family, friends, and all who knew her. We celebrate her life and the love she shared with us all.
