Obituary

Mack Standridge, 79, of Forrest City, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home on July 23, 2026, surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Born on May 7, 1947, in Moro, Arkansas, Mack lived a life defined by faith, hard work, and devotion to his family. He was the retired owner and operator of Standridge Heat, Air & Electric, Inc., where he faithfully served his community for many years.

Above all, Mack dedicated his life to serving the Lord and sharing the message of Jesus Christ with others. He faithfully served as a Sunday School teacher at Beck Spur Baptist Church for more than 50 years, touching countless lives through his unwavering faith, wisdom, and love.

Mack enjoyed spending time with his family, deer hunting, watching old westerns with the love of his life, Amy, and taking Sunday afternoon naps. He will be remembered for his steadfast faith, generous heart, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Irma Standridge of Moro, Arkansas; his stepmother, Fannie Goshen Standridge of Rondo, Arkansas; his son, Charles Timothy Standridge of North Little Rock, Arkansas; and his siblings, Imogene Gore of Palestine, Arkansas; Geraldine Olszta of Conshohoken, Pennsylvania; E.L. “Pete” Standridge of Moore, Oklahoma; Mable Hooper of Charleston, Tennessee; and Joan Hobson of Horn Lake, Mississippi.

Mack is survived by his beloved wife, Amy Culver Standridge of Forrest City, Arkansas; his son, Jeff Standridge (Donna) of Forrest City, Arkansas; his daughter, Dana Turnage (Jason) of Jacksonville, Arkansas; his daughter, Amanda McGowan (Michael) of Forrest City, Arkansas; and his son, Benjamin Standridge (Hannah) of Forrest City, Arkansas. He is also survived by his siblings, Knoxylene Bosnick of Moro, Arkansas; Ann Hood of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and Jerry Standridge of Hot Springs, Arkansas; 17 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Mack’s legacy of faith, love, and service will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. His family finds comfort in knowing that he has entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior, whom he faithfully served throughout his life.
