Mary Louise Holloway of Wheatley passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at the age of 84. She began life's journey in Brickeys Arkansas on August 30, 1936 and as the first child born to Helen Oxner Bryant, shared in childhood memories with three siblings.  Louise received formal education in the nearby community of Moro, graduating in 1954.

Louise became the wife of Dennis Holloway in 1955 and took great pride in caring for her home and family. Through the years she became the mother of six children, and grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  Louise worked outside the home beginning with the Brinkley Walmart. She later secured a position as a Clerical Supervisor with the Monroe Co. Health Department where she would remain for 30 years until her retirement in 2004.

For more than 60 years Louise has been a dedicated and active member of the Brinkley Church of Christ.  She enjoyed taking her children to church, raising a vegetable garden, canning and freezing the harvest, spending a lot of time with grandkids and going to yard sales. Louise was active in her community helping at the election polls for the last several years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Holloway, brother, Albert Bryant and grandchild, Andrea Holloway.

She is survived by children; Denise Moye (Don), of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Steve Holloway, of Brinkley, Arkansas, Ada Holloway of Russellville, Arkansas, Doug Holloway,  of Brinkley, Arkansas, Mark Holloway (Lindsey), of Russellville, Arkansas, David Holloway, of Wheatley, Arkansas; brother, Robert Bryant and Patsy, of Decatur, Alabama, and sister Cathy Stout, of Ward, Arkansas; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 - 11:30 A.M. at Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home in Brinkley,. Services will be at the 2:00P.M. at the Brinkley Church of Christ with Bro. Jody McFadden officiating. Burial will be at Johnson Cemetery in Wheatley. Pall bearers; Zack Hill, Jed Holloway, Dennis Holloway, Christian Hoselton, Eric Hoselton, Allen Stout, Jeremy Bryant, Honorary pall bearers, Levi Holloway, Bud Fowler, Bubby Hoselton, Larry York, and Ulysses Medford.
