Lorena Faye
Stice
August 25, 1957 — October 18, 2024
Brinkley
Lorena Faye Farrell was born on August 25, 1957. She was the first born of four children to Dyrl and Louise Farrell. She was born in Forrest City, Arkansas and later relocated to Hot Springs where she attended high school.
On November 4, 1976, at the age of 19, Lorena married the love of her life, Edward Jay Stice. The newlyweds chose to make their home and raise a family in Brinkley. They were blessed with the birth of two children, a son, Eric and a daughter, Amanda. Lorena had a great sense of pride in her role as a wife, home maker, and mother. Her greatest joys in life were during the moments spent surrounded by her family. In quieter times she loved spending time working in her flower gardens. Sadly after 45 years of marriage, Lorena experienced the loss of Edward on January 20, 2021. She remained steadfast in caring for the family home and enjoyed playing games on her phone, watching tv and caring for her pets.
On October 18, 2024, Lorena passed away at her home in Brinkley at the age of 67. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dyrl and Louise Farrell, her husband E.J. Stice, brother Leonard Farrell and sister Marion Farrell.
She is survived by her son Eric Stice, and daughter Amanda Stice both of Brinkley, brother, Mitchell Farrell (Connie) of Moro, sisters, Misty McElroy (Ethan) of Moro, Dyrless Pennington (Daniel) of Crossett and four grandchildren, Hannah Lee, Zachary Lee, Nathan Norwood and Heavenly Ballard.
