Obituary

Lillie Campbell passed away on September 10, 2022 at the age of 91. She was born on March 18, 1931 to the late William and Mary Traylor. At the time of her birth the family home was located in Moro, Arkansas.  Lillie was the third born of ten children and received formal education in the nearby community of Clarendon

On October 2, 1948 she became the bride of G.W. "Jiggs" Campbell. The ceremony took place in Brinkley and officiated by Rev. Clay. The newlyweds made their home in different areas that included Keevil and Brinkley before moving to Wheatley. In time they were blessed to welcome the birth of their daughter, Janet.   Lillie worked outside the home for twenty years as an employee of Phillips Van-Huesen located in Brinkley.  Sadly in 1991 Lillie experienced the passing of Jiggs, however she remained steadfast in maintaining and caring for the home for several years. In 1995 due to health challenges she moved to Cabot to be closer to Janet and other family.

Lillie was of the Christian faith and in times of worship attended the First Baptist Church in Cabot. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, G.W. Campbell, and siblings, Pete Traylor, Billy Jay Traylor, Joel Traylor, Margie Jones, Jewell Higgins and infant sister, Nancy.

She is survived by her daughter Janet Henry (Jerry) of Cabot, Arkansas, brothers, Drury Traylor of Brinkley, Arkansas, Sidney Traylor of Springfield, Arkansas and sister Ceil Ballenger of Morrilton, Arkansas, grandchildren, Karyn Lyn Henry (Jon), Katie Diane Henry and great grandchild, Chaysey Singleton
