On February 5, in the early morning Lilah Roediger, affectionately called Momma, Cowgirl, Mamaw, Granny, heard her Lord call her name and she entered peacefully to the presence of Jesus surrounded by family.
Lilah was born on April 29,1934 to Ira and Rentha Hudson. She was number 10 of 12 children. Her siblings preceding her in death Orba, Norma, Alva, Garnett, Roy, Vance, Irene, Maxine , Mary Jean, JoAnne. She is survived by Richard, who she considered her little brother.
Lilah was married to Wayne Roediger for 22 years where they lived in Brinkley, Arkansas. Wayne preceded her in death on September 11, 2016.
She had 4 children Kimberly Smith (Rex) of Castle Rock, Washington, Mark Nuss, of Brinkley, Desiree Mann of Benton, AR whose husband Ricky preceded her in death, Rodney Nuss (Angie) of Shreveport, LA, Rodney preceded her in death. Her grandkids Bo (Jaime), Cindy (Fred), Justin (Mande), Tiffany, Slate (Crystal), Dustin (Olivia), Stephanie brought her so much joy blessing her with 15 great grandchildren, Allen (Haley), Bree Anne (Michael), Ashlynn (Quentin), Johnathan, Charity, Anna, Seth, Samuel, Sara, Adelynn, Mallie, Grayson, Bianca, Rafe, Beau. She was blessed to have 5 generations with her great-great grandchildren Lilah, Autumn and Landon. Lilah loved to keep up with all the achievements of the kids and she was their best supporter.
Other than her family Lilah was a faithful member of her church Wheatley Baptist Church for over 20 years where she loved to support the VBS program. She also enjoyed watching the Arkansas Razorbacks play football and basketball and took great pride in calling the Hogs. Working in the yard and growing flowers to attract the songbirds and trying to identify each one was one of her favorite past times. She also looked forward to going to the beauty shop each week.
Those who knew her were blessed to have her in their lives as she treated everyone with respect and compassion and greeted everyone with that smile that let you know you were special and so important to her. Heaven is a sweeter place by her presence. We will dearly miss her presence. See you soon.
