Larry Douglas Gross passed away on June 20, 2024, at the age of 82. He was born on March 29, 1942, in Brinkley, Arkansas, to Perry and Viola Gross. Larry was a lifelong resident of Brinkley and well known by many in the community. He received formal education through the local public schools and went on to build a successful career as a self-employed Surveyor for over forty years. His dedication and hard work were evident in all that he did.

Larry was blessed in life to become a father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be remembered for his unwavering love of his family. Larry's kindness, generosity, and warmth touched the lives of all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Perry Allen, and Viola Amanda Reynolds Gross, as well as his siblings, Perry Gross, Wayne Gross, Peggy Bradley, and Virginia Uchansky, his grandson Christopher Perry Gross, and his long time companion, Mel Salley. Despite the sorrow of losing them, he found solace in the many memories they shared.

Larry is survived by his son, Doug Gross, and daughter-in-law Terri of Des Arc, along with Tobi Taylor (Scott), of Conway and Josh Salley (Leslie), of Greers Ferry.   He is also survived by his sisters, Anna Lee Rigdon, of Brinkley and Dorothy Fowler, and her husband Edgar, of Rich. Larry's legacy is carried on by his grandchildren, Rebecca Bell, and Faith Gross, and his four great-grandchildren, Logan Bell, Perry Bell, Blaklee Bell, and Shyanne Edwards.

Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2024 followed by a Celebration of Life Service honoring Larry's memory at 11:00 a.m., both at Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Brinkley.
