Obituary

Larry Joe Crye, aged 79, passed away on May 7, 2026, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born in Des Arc, Arkansas, on November 13, 1946, to Herman and Floy Crye, Joe led a life marked by dedication and service, both to his country and his community.

After completing his high school education in Des Arc, Joe furthered his studies at ASU Jonesboro. He then honorably served in the United States Army, where he upheld the values of loyalty and duty that would define his life.

Joe married Sue Waliski Crye, who preceded him in death, along with his parents, his niece Kimberly Crye, and his brother Lewis Crye. He is survived by a loving family, including his nephews Tony Crye, Clinton Crye, Clay Waliski, Nicholas Polk, Brian Blackwood, Ryan Tucker; and nieces Debbie Tucker, Angie Waliski, Lauren Faulk, Labeth Polk, and Candace Gibbs.

Known for his love of traveling, bowling, playing pool, and horse racing, Joe found great joy in life's simpler pleasures and shared this joy with those around him.
