Obituary

Kenneth Allen Dryden was born on May 2, 1944, in Miami, Arizona, to his parents Clarence Allen Dryden and Lucille Huff Dryden.

Kenny was a 1962 graduate of Stuttgart High School and attended Henderson State where he played baseball.  Kenny began his Rice Mill career in 1963 and retired from Producers Rice Mill, after 50 plus years of service in the industry.

He had a passion for golfing, fishing, and duck hunting. He enjoyed watching sports, particularly baseball, Arkansas Razorback and anything his grandchildren participated in.

In addition to his hobbies, Kenny was heavily involved in his community. He was a proud member of the Jaycees and Kiwanis Club. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Stuttgart and Marvell for 60 years, where he shared his faith as a Men's Sunday School Teacher. His dedication to his church and community made a lasting impact on those around him.

Kenny passed away at the age of 80 on February 6, 2025. He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Edna McGuire Dryden, who stood by his side through all of life's joys and challenges. He is also survived by his loving daughter Renee (Brooks) Bonner of Turner, AR, his son, Jason Allen Dryden of Little Rock, AR, and four grandchildren, Celia Hill (Drake), Anna VonKanel (Otto), Drake Bonner (Bailey) and Ashlie Dryden and four great grandchildren.  He is also survived by three sisters, Shirley Copeland, Bonnie Brackett and Joyce Turner.

Kenny was a beloved husband, father, teacher, and friend who touched the lives of so many with his generosity and compassion.
