Obituary

Kenneth Andrew Cook, known affectionately as Kenny, passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 63 in Little Rock, AR. Born on November 6, 1962, in Holly Grove, Kenny grew up and attended Clarendon High School, graduating with the class of 1981.

Kenny was a self-employed farmer, a career that spoke to his love for the land and the outdoors. His work was not just a means of livelihood but a reflection of his dedication to the earth and his community. Beyond his farming, Kenny was a committed member of the Hunter Fire Department, where he served with distinction and bravery. His hobbies included deer hunting and woodworking, activities that allowed him to enjoy and appreciate the natural beauty of his surroundings.

He was the best "Paw Kenny" to his granddaughters, Maisyn and Kimber. Always present, hands on, and loved those two girls more than life.

Kenny is survived by a loving family: his son, Gary Cook and his wife Macayla of Judsonia; his daughter, Kara Miller and her husband Chad of Searcy; two grandchildren, Kimber Degunion and Maisyn Cook; his brothers, Lynn Cook and his wife Michelle of Maumelle, and Joel Smith and his wife Kelly of Drasco; and his sister, Sharon Hampton and her husband Terry of Clarendon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Gene and Connie Lou Cook.
