Obituary

Kathryn Oltmann, passed away at the age of 92, on Monday, July 26. She was born June 24, 1929 to Louie and Irene Smith in Kensett, Arkansas and received education in Clarendon. On October 23, 1948 Kathryn married William Oltmann from Ulm. They chose to make their home in Hunter and ran a successful farm for nearly 62 years. When William stepped away to retire they moved to Brinkley and became a vital part of the community. They were blessed to share in the joys of raising three children.

Kathryn was a Christian and dedicated member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Rich for more than 72 years.

She was proceded in death by husband, William Earnest Oltmann, brothers, Frank and George Smith; sisters, Lourene James, Thelma Reynolds, Dorothy Williams, Grace Cruthis, Carnell Wolf and 1 grandchild.

Kathryn is survived by son, Bill Oltmann, of Norfork, Arkansas; daughters, Linda Oltmann, of Heber Springs and Barbara Brown, also of Norfork; brother Eddie Smith and Mary, of Pine Bluff, Jimmy Smith and Nadine, of Alexander; sister, Sally Westbrook, of Holly Grove; 5 grandchildren, Laurie Geater, Lynn Oltmann, Katy Morris, Bill Mayo, Rebecca Lucas and 6 great grandchildren, Christopher Geater, Bradley Geater, Ray Lynn, Karlie Morris, Gabe Mayo and Arbor Lucas.

Visitation will be Tuesday at Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home in Brinkley from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M.. Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. at Ulm Cemetery Pavilion on Wednesday, officiated by Ray Vester.
