Obituary

Joyce Jackson Johnson, age 77 of St. Charles, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Joyce was born December 20, 1944 at Eufala, OK to the late Earl Paul Jackson and the late Oleta Jackson. Joyce received her formal education at Marvell High School at Marvell, Arkansas. On May 25, 1963 she married the love of her life, Ted Johnson, Sr. Over the years this marriage would be blessed with the birth of two children, Ted Jr and Tonya, three grandchildren and two precious great grandchildren. Joyce enjoyed being a housewife caring for her family and in her leisure time she spent time fishing and hunting.

Survivors are her husband of 59 years, Ted Johnson, Sr.; one son, Ted Johnson, Jr. and wife Debra of Malvern; one daughter, Tonya Geater and husband Randy of Almyra: Grandchildren, Heather and Melissa Johnson and Courtney Collins: Great Grandchildren, Averi Cox and Emerson Collins: Brother, Gerold Jackson and wife Martha of Barton: Sister, Debbie Walker of Norman and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation: The family will gather at Bob Neal & Sons-Brickell Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 6- until 8 PM to visit with friends

Funeral Services: 2PM Wednesday afternoon at the Bob Neal & Sons-Brickell Funeral Home Chapel with Lloyd Duvall officiating.

Burial: will be at Turner Cemetery, Turner, AR
