Jimmy George of Wynne, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the age of 70. He was born on February 4, 1951, to the family of Jack and Zulieme George. Jimmy  shared in childhood activities along with eight siblings and received formal education at Marvell Public schools, graduating in 1970.

On May 2, 1975 Jimmy married Mary Ann Fielder. Jimmy and MaryAnn George would make their home in several places before eventually becoming part of the Wynne Community. They shared in the births of four children, and the joys of seeing their family grow with the addition of spouses, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents , Jack and Zulieme George; son, Shane Alan George, brothers Jack George, James Perry George, Joe George and sisters, Alein George, and Julia George Papa.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Ann; son, Shae Anthony George of Wynne, daughters, Shawn Ashley Smith and Jason of Flippin, Arkansas, Tammy Lynn Baw of North Little Rock, Arkansas; brothers, Pat George and Rosa Lee of Cleveland, Mississippi, Jerry Paul George and Teresa of Vilonia, Arkansas, Jeffrey George of Holly Grove, Powell George and Bambi of Searcy, Arkansas.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00P.M. - 8:00P.M. in Marvell at Bob Neal & Sons Brickell Chapel. Graveside will be Wednesday at 2P.M. at Valley Grove Cemetery, Holly Grove, AR
