Jimmy Eugene Booker was born on May 5, 1961, to Milton and Erlene Booker. He grew up in a loving home alongside his three siblings. Jimmy attended Marvell Academy until his senior year, when he transferred to Clarendon High School.

From a young age, Jimmy was known as a stellar athlete. He played shortstop for his baseball team and was admired for his strong arm and quick feet. When he wasn't on the field, he could often be found in the woods, as he was an avid hunter who deeply loved the outdoors.

Above all else, Jimmy was a devoted father. He lived for his two children and never missed an opportunity to brag about them to anyone who would listen. He was also a loving grandfather, brother, and friend, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Erlene Booker, and his brother, Mike Booker.

He is survived by his two children, son Dillon Booker of Cabot and daughter Alisen Booker of Cabot; the mother of his children, Melissa Booker of Cabot; his siblings, Janet and husband Doug Calloway of Hot Springs; Doug and wife Jan Booker of Hot Springs; his sister-in-law, Margaret Booker of Cabot; two grandsons; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Jimmy will be deeply missed, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. A celebration of life will be held at the Executive Hall in Clarendon Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 12:00pm.
