Jessie Arnett Sr. of Brinkley passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the age of 75. Jessie was born May 20, 1945 to the family of Russell and Flora Bell Arnett, in Monroe, Arkansas. He received early education in Moro and later became a 1964 graduate of Stuttgart High School.

On February 14, 1998, he married Glenda Nowlin. They have made their home in Brinkley for several years and attended times of worship at  the First Assembly of God Church. In his spare time Jessie loved to work outside and enjoyed buying and selling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Jimmy Spears, Marvin Spears; sisters Doris and Helen; and step son, Brandon Dunavan.

He is survived by his wife Glenda Arnett; sons, Michael Arnett, of Alexander, Jessie Earl Arnett Jr. and Emily, of Benton, step son Brian Robert Dunavan and Lonna, of Searcy and Thomas Blake Dunavan, of Brinkley; daughters, Carol Arnett Skiba and Ron, of Austin and Amanda Joan Arnett of Brinkley; nine grandchildren, Will Dunavan, Karsen Dunavan, Branden Arnett, Elizabeth Dunavan, Angela Dunavan, Nash Arnett, Addie Arnett, Jase Arnett, Audrey Arnett and Kaitlyn Bowen; brothers Russell Arnett of Kansas, B.J. Spears and Faye, of Hot Springs; sister in laws, Clare Spears, of Brinkley and Jeanie Spears, of Greenbrier
