Jeffrey Faylon Goode, age 58, of Des Arc, passed away Monday morning, June 6, 2022 at the CHI St Vincent Hospital in Little Rock. A son of the late Ronald Dennis Goode and Nellie Jo Lemmonds of Searcy. Jeffrey was born June 13, 1963 and grew up with his brother and sister in the Griffithville area but received his high school education thru the Des Arc school system, graduating with the Eagle Class of 1981. Then attending ASU Jonesboro for 4 years receiving his BA in Plant Science.  Jeffrey worked for the Arkansas State Plant Board for 20 years, as the Assistant Director of Pesticide Licensing.

He loved his time outdoors riding motorcycles, hunting and fishing.  For Brody's (Jeffs nephew) 6 ^th grade graduation, Jeff pulled up into the school parking lot, pulling a fishing boat and trailer.  Happy Graduation Brody!! For Cory and Summers senior graduation, Uncle Jeff took the girls to Hawaii. He never missed a ballgame, or cheer tryouts with nieces and nephew.  He loved time spent with nieces and nephews.

Since January 2007, due to health complications, he has been a resident at Des Arc Convalescent Center.

Jeffrey is survived by his son, Bryce, wife Katelynn and grandaughter Hayzie Suzanne Goode, brother, Ronald Goode and wife, Kelly, their daughters Cory Gibson and Summer Greenwalt and their son Brody of Hazen, and sister, Angela Putter of New York.

At this time no services have been planned.  A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
