Obituary

Jared Woodward Ford 51, of Clarendon passed away Thursday May 20 th , 2021. Jared was born in Forrest City as the third son to Sandra Beck and Henry Ford. "Fish" as he was known by family and friends graduated from Clarendon High School and was a proud member of the class of 1987. After high school Jared went on to Jonesboro and graduated from Arkansas State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. After college Jared went to work for Tri-County Farmers Association, where he worked as a crop consultant. Soon after, Jared decided to create his own business, Rice Pro. Jared continued to work up until the day he passed. Jared loved and respected all of his farmers.

Jared was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors and had a passion for hunting deer and duck. He loved rice farming.

Throughout the years Jared overcame several medical battles. His determination and strength was admired by everyone in his life.

Jared married Sara West Ford October 1, 2005 in Negril, Jamaica. They started a life together and had three beautiful children, Tyler, Addison, and Molly Kate. Jared loved being a dad and loved his family dearly.

He is survived by his wife: Sara West Ford, Mother: Sandra and Alvin Beck, Father: Henry Ford and Barbra Nail, Mother-in-law: Belinda West, Son: Tyler Ford, Daughters: Addison and Molly Kate Ford of Clarendon, Brothers: Jon Ford of Augusta, Henry "Bubba" Ford of Clarendon, Justin Beck and his wife Amber of Clarendon.

Jared was a self-made man respected by many and loved by all. He will truly be missed.

The family extends its deepest gratitude to Dr. Boop, Dr. Gilbert, Dr. Hayes, Dr. Hall and Dr. Gao for their dedication to Jared's health and needs throughout the years. To the farmers, you will always be family.

Lastly, but not least, to Richard Quinn for your loyalty and unwavering friendship throughout the years.

Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 at Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home in Clarendon. Services will be Tuesday at the Clarendon Methodist church at 2PM with Burial to follow at Shady Grove Cemetery.
