Jan Edward Clement was born on March 5, 1948 in Long Beach, California, a son to Winfred Rudolf and Mary Diana (Graves) Clement. Jan passed away on July 15, 2021 at his home in Perry, Arkansas at the age of 73.

Jan was of the Baptist faith and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed by the Perry County Road Department and retired after 26 years of service. His favorite pastimes included being outdoors fishing and riding motorcycles. He will be missed greatly by those who knew him.

Jan is preceded in death by his parents.

Jan is survived by his wife of 49 years: Sandy (Jackson) Clement; son: Steve Clement and wife Cyndi of Perry, Arkansas; daughters: Judy Runnels and husband Ronnie of Houston, Arkansas, Samantha Clement of Maumelle, Arkansas, Jamie Priester and husband Joe of North Little Rock, Arkansas; brother: Rusty Clement of Colorado; sister: Dawn Villarreal of Arizona; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
