Obituary

James 'Sterling' Warnock, born March 30, 1984, in Little Rock, AR, has left us to weave melodies among the stars, his life journey ending on July 19, 2023. James, known affectionately as 'Sterling' to his friends, left an indelible mark on the hearts of those around him with his loving nature and ever-supportive disposition. A native of Little Rock, he later moved to Clarendon and Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he spent his most cherished moments.

Sterling was a dedicated music therapy assistant, a profession that perfectly reflected his compassionate nature and his extraordinary talent. He was not simply a staff member, but a beacon of hope and comfort for those he worked with. In his free time, Sterling was an avid duck hunter and fisherman, finding peace and solace in nature. His talents didn't end there. He was a gifted musician, playing both the piano and the guitar with a passion that was infectious. Sterling was also a regular volunteer at local food pantries, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to supporting his community. His most notable achievement was graduating from UALR with a Bachelor's degree, a testament to his dedication and tenacity.

However, what mattered most to Sterling was the time he spent with his beloved daughter, Aria. He was a loving father, an unwavering support system, and the best friend a child could ask for. His love for her was immeasurable and will continue to be felt in her heart forever. He is survived by his father, Steve Warnock, his mother, Ann Laser, his grandmother, Adrianne Cockrill, his daughter, Aria Warnock, and his brother, River Warnock.

A memorial service will be held at a later time to honor the memory of James Sterling Warnock.
