James Walter Tallent was born to the late, Marvin and LaVern Tallent in Searcy, Arkansas , August 28, 1953. He passed away October 19, 2026 , in Little Rock, Arkansas .

James Graduated high school in 1971 and enetered farming with his dad and oldest brother, Frank.After the death of his father in 1979, he formed a paternership with his brother, known as Tallent Bro's Farms. He enjoyed hunting , fishing and being with his family.

James leaves behind his sons; Corey(Katrina) Tallent, and Drusty Tallent, sisters;Linda (Edgar) Alverson and Janet, brother; Frank (Becky) Tallent, and three grandsons; Braxton, Ty, and Conner, and grand daughter; Remington , and step granddaughter Kaycie Merrell, and numerous nieces and nephews.

James was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Kenneth and Faron, and his beloved wife of 45 years Mary Tallent.
