Obituary

James Carl Bradshaw (JC) was born July 17, 1934 in Gracemont, OK to Floyd Fay Bradshaw and Mary Ethel Guinn Bradshaw.  JC entered into the gates of Heaven on Friday, April 16, 2021 with his family at his side at the age of 86.

JC and wife Norma were 50 year members of the Springfield Missionary Baptist Church.   JC married the love of his life Norma Dean Waters on December 30, 1955 when he was 21 and she was only 14.  They were together 65 years when the Lord decided to take JC home.    JC had a passion in restoring old tractors and cars.  He wanted them all done right, he didn't want them cobbled together as Norma Dean put it he was very meticulous about his tractors.  He also loved collecting coins, guns, and knives.  The biggest most important part of his life was his love for his Lord and Savior and the love he had for his wife and family.  When the grandkids and great grandkids came around JC had a twinkle in his eyes that no one else may have ever seen but them.  There was a special bond he shared with each of them, they each with cherish them through the days ahead.

JC is preceded in death by his parents: daughter: Linda Gail Bradshaw: three brothers: Elmer Glen, Billy Hugh and Farrell Bradshaw, Sister: Hazel Nowlin; and grandson: Jeremiah Bradshaw.

He is survived by his wife Norma Dean Bradshaw of Springfield; daughter: Mary Pettingill and husband George of Plumerville; two sons:  Bo Bradshaw and wife Diane; Carl Bradshaw and wife Roberta all of Springfield; 13 grandchildren: Michael, Allan, Charles, Norma, Brandy Pettingill, J.O.,Olivia, Linda Gail Bradshaw, Michael Quattlebaum, Shane and Ryan Bradshaw, Hope Moore, and Paige Dane; thirty one great grandchildren along with many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00PM til 8:00PM Monday, April 19, 2021 at Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church in Springfield.  Interment will follow at Kilgore Cemetery.
