Jacklyn M. (Sullenger) Frye was born on May 11, 1925 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Holly and Hallie (Hendricks) Sullenger. Jacklyn passed away on June 17, 2021 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 96.

Jacklyn was a lifelong resident of Cleveland, Arkansas and was a member of the Scotland Baptist Church. Mrs. Frye was active in the following organizations: VFW of Choctaw, Arkansas, Senior Citizens of Scotland, and Extension Homemakers Club of Scotland. She was a hard worker, helping her husband, Albert, as a poultry farmer for J.K. Southerland in her younger years. Jacklyn enjoyed being outside working in her vegetable and flower gardens.

Jacklyn is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 46 years; Albert W. Frye; son: Norwood Frye; daughter: Lovene Farris; granddaughter: Tawnya Holt; sister: Gloria Anderson.

Jacklyn is survived by her sons: Hollis Frye and wife Shirley of Scotland, Arkansas, Rick Frye and wife Debra of Greenbrier, Arkansas; 9 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Scotland Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. at the same location with interment following at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Scotland.
