Mr. Hugh R. Bonner, age 80, of Hot Springs Village and Turner, AR  died Wednesday at his home.  Hugh was born September 2, 1942, in Turner, AR to his parents Otto Caraway and Mondine Middleton Bonner.  He was a 1960 graduate of Marvell High School and attended Arkansas State Teachers College.  Mr. Bonner, who loved Golfing, Fishing and Duck hunting was also a 37-year Cotton Farmer in Turner, AR. and a 64-year member of the Turner Baptist Church. He and his high school sweetheart, Gay, were married 60 years, 11 months, 13 days and 3 ½ hours. Hugh also loved making memories with his family.

Survivors include his wife; Gay Faulkner Bonner, 2 Sons; John Faulkner Bonner and wife Kim of Castle Rock, CO, Brooks Caraway Bonner and wife Renee of Turner, AR; Daughter; Lisa Gay Bonner; 11 Grandchildren; Betsy Staley (John), Will Bonner (Marilyn), Rachael Bonner, Kelsey Monroe, Becca Mora (Vaughn), Grant Bonner (MiKayla), Celia Hill (Drake), Emily Monroe, Anna Von Kanel (Otto), Drake Bonner, and Alleace Bonner.   9 Great Grandchildren;  Cade Mora, Caroline Staley, Joshua Staley, Caleb Staley, John Randall Bonner, Preslee Mora, Arden Bonner, Parker Mora, and Cara Beth Bonner.  2 Brothers; J. Darrell Bonner (Shelly) of Paragould, AR, and G. Elwood Bonner (Pat) of Roland, AR.

He was preceded in death by his parents Otto Caraway and Mondine Bonner, his son Hugh Gregory Bonner, and his brother Gaines Bonner.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Saturday October 15, 2022, in the Turner Cemetery at Turner, AR.  with Bro. Joe Garner and Bro. Kevin Bright officiating.  Visitation will follow at 11:00 AM in the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Marvell, AR.

Those honored to serve as Pallbearers are Will Bonner, Grant Bonner, Drake Bonner, John Staley, Drake Hill, Vaughn Mora and Otto VonKanel.
